"I found a couple of casting posts..."
I found a couple of casting posts that seemed legit, but a few others were kind of vague or looked outdated. From that experience, I’d say the site seems like one of those places where there are real opportunities mixed in, but you really have to do your own checking before applying. I don’t think it’s a scam, but I also wouldn’t use it as my only source.

"Feels pricey and a bit impersonal"
Casting Frontier works fine for the most part, but the subscription cost feels steep for what you actually get. I was a little frustrated realizing I had to pay more just to really make use of the site. The whole experience also felt kind of impersonal, like I was just a ticket number instead of an actual user. I think it would help a lot if they had a cheaper plan or were more upfront about the pricing from the start.

"Simple and easy to navigate"
I’ve used a few casting sites before that felt kind of overwhelming, so Casting Frontier has been a nice change. Setting up my profile was straightforward, and finding casting calls doesn’t take a ton of time. Even when I’m rushing, the site is easy to figure out. Haven’t had any major issues so far.

"Didn't get many responses, unfortunately"
I used Casting Frontier for a while, i’m not sure if I was just unlucky or if that’s normal, but I barely got any replies. I submitted to quite a few jobs, and most of them just didn’t seem to go anywhere. The site itself is fine, I guess, but for the amount of time I put in, the response rate felt disappointing.

"I did end up booking a small role..."
I did end up booking a small role through Casting Frontier, so I don’t want to complain too much because that was definitely a win. I don’t know why, but the site just feels a bit clunky sometimes, especially when I’m trying to submit for something. It usually works fine, just not always smoothly. I also feel like the messages could be easier to keep track of. Overall, it’s not bad, but it’s not amazing either. I’d give it 3 stars.

Well... I mostly use Casting Frontier to browse roles, and the search filters are useful. I like being able to narrow things down by age, location, and project type so I’m not scrolling through a bunch of stuff that doesn’t fit. The site can feel a little slow sometimes, and I’ve had the filters reset in a weird way, which gets annoying. But overall, it does what I need it to do, and I’ve found some solid auditions through it...

"Help arrived... eventually"
They did fix my issue in the end, so credit where it's due. It just took a couple of days and two follow-ups from me, because apparently patience is part of the troubleshooting process. Not terrible, just a little annoying.

Maybe it’s just me, but I got charged and I’m still not totally clear on what the charge was for. The billing details could’ve been a bit easier to understand.

"Canceling was such a hassle"
I tried to cancel my account and it felt way harder than it needed to be. The option wasn’t easy to find, and I kept getting pushed through automated prompts instead of just being able to handle it directly. I hate when companies make you jump through hoops just to stop getting charged. Super frustrating experience.

I’ve been using Casting Frontier for a few months now, i think the audition quality is good overall. I know some people like to nitpick these platforms, but most of the breakdowns I’ve seen feel legit and actually line up with the kind of work I’m looking for. Yeah, a few postings could definitely use more details, and that gets annoying, but that doesn’t mean the whole thing is useless. I’ve found a few good opportunities through it, so for me, it’s not perfect, but it’s definitely been useful.

I’ve been using Casting Frontier mostly from LA, and one thing I like is it’s not just locked into one area or whatever. I can still poke around and see casting stuff in other cities too, which is nice if I’m traveling or just thinking maybe I should submit somewhere else for a change.
The location filters are simple enough, not some big confusing thing. Basically it keeps me from wasting time clicking on jobs that are way too far away and not realistic for me. So far, it’s been useful and does what I need it to do

"Honestly, I’m not sure I’d trust it"
The site worked okay overall, but I never really felt confident using it. A few parts were so vague that I caught myself thinking, what a joke, because I wasn’t even totally sure what I was paying for or whether the listings were actually worth it. Maybe it’s fine for some people, but I’d definitely be careful before spending money here...

Getting my profile set up took so much longer than it should have!!! A few sections were kind of confusing, and the uploads kept glitching or acting weird!!! I did finally get through it, but it wasn’t the best first impression!!!

"Helpful for agent access, with a few little frustrations"
Getting agent access set up was straightforward, which was a relief. The tools are easy enough to use, and I really appreciate having submissions and updates all in one place instead of feeling scattered. The site does get a bit slow at times, and a few pages feel kind of outdated, which can be a little frustrating. But overall, it gets the job done and has made things easier for me. It’s not perfect, but I’m happy enough with it.
